I myself am Canadian, and I'm anxiously awaiting for Canada to play in the World Cup. I was only 7 in '86, in addition I had to endure watching the canucks being oh so close to qualifying in '93, as well as their diasterous run in qualifying for 2010. I guess the the team got big heads after losing 3 - 2 to an almost full strength Brazil. I also thought that Dale Mitchell was a joke as national team coach-how do you get promoted after such a disappointing performance with the u-20's........at home? Ranting aside, I am a big fan of the national team and I hope to follow them on your blog! Thank you very much Mike for blogging about the Canadian National Team.
